Ashley was 6 years old when she attended her first Tap/Jazz combo class at the Carlsbad Dance Centre. After taking the stage for the first time, she knew she found her passion and that dance would always be a large part of her life. She then enrolled in many different styles of dance including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, and worked her way up to Pointe. Ashley was also on the CDC Competition Team for 8 years performing in various group numbers as well as solos, duos, and trios. She started assisting classes at the age of 13 and loved helping out other teachers. By the age of 18, Ashley started teaching as a sub at CDC and enjoyed working with students of all levels.

Ashley was also on Carlsbad High School’s Varsity Dance Team for 4 years, and was a part of the team when they won 2 national championship titles. Being on Lancer Dancers allowed Ashley to learn more about the sport she loves and she learned a lot about herself in the process.

Ashley is currently studying Psychology at Cal State Northridge with plans to become a School Psychologist. She loves working with children and is so thankful that Ron and Jana have given her this amazing opportunity to be a part of the CDC staff. Ashley would also like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive and loving.
